The GTA 6 Map of Leonida: Full Region Breakdown

Jun 22, 2026·5 min read

Grand Theft Auto VI is set in the State of Leonida — Rockstar's modern reimagining of Florida. Six regions have been officially confirmed, with Vice City as the centerpiece. This is the largest, most varied open world Rockstar has ever built.

Vice City — the beating heart

Modern Miami reborn. Rockstar's most detailed city ever, packed with confirmed neighborhoods: Ocean Beach, South Beach, Little Haiti, Little Havana, Venetian Islands and Crosstown. Heavy nightlife, neon strips, beachfronts and high-rises.

Leonida Keys — sun-bleached islands

Inspired by the Florida Keys. A chain of small islands connected by long highway bridges over turquoise water. Diving, saltwater fishing and scenic coastal driving confirmed. Likely the home of the smuggling subplot.

Grassrivers — the Everglades

Rockstar's take on the Florida Everglades. Vast subtropical wetlands, cypress forests, slow rivers and alligators. Hunting, fishing and wildlife encounters confirmed. Airboats are expected as a primary traversal method.

Mount Kalaga, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia

Mount Kalaga is the forested mountain wilderness — the closest GTA 6 has to RDR2's Ambarino. Port Gellhorn is the gritty industrial port town. Ambrosia is the inland small-town heartland — gas stations, motels, billboards.
