GTA 6 Leonida Keys: Florida Keys Reimagined
The Leonida Keys are Rockstar's reimagining of the Florida Keys: a chain of small islands strung together by long highway bridges over turquoise water. This is the laid-back, resort-and-reef end of the GTA 6 map.
Island-hopping and traversal
Long causeways link the islands together, ideal for high-speed driving, motorcycle stunts and boat traversal. Expect at least three to five distinct named islands.
Diving and saltwater fishing
Confirmed activities include scuba diving (with reef ecosystems) and saltwater fishing. Coral reefs, shipwrecks and hidden underwater collectibles are heavily rumored.
The smuggling subplot
Datamines and Trailer 2 hints suggest the Keys are the entry point for Jason's drug-running storyline. Smuggler boats, hidden coves and Coast Guard patrols are expected gameplay loops.
Vibe and aesthetics
Turquoise water, white sand beaches, sun-bleached fishing villages, mangroves at sunset. The Keys are GTA 6's most relaxed environment — and the polar opposite of Vice City's neon hustle.
