Rockstar has now confirmed six distinct regions in GTA VI: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Mount Kalaga, Port Gellhorn and Ambrosia. The largest, most varied Rockstar map ever.
After months of datamine speculation, Rockstar has now officially confirmed six distinct regions for the GTA VI map of Leonida. Together they form the largest, most varied open world the studio has ever shipped — roughly twice the size of GTA V's San Andreas with significantly higher density.
Vice City — the centerpiece
Rockstar's modern reimagining of Miami and the most detailed city the studio has ever built. Six confirmed neighborhoods: Ocean Beach, South Beach, Little Haiti, Little Havana, Venetian Islands and Crosstown. Vice City alone reportedly has more interior detail than the entire GTA V map.
Wilderness and water
The Leonida Keys are GTA VI's island chain — diving, fishing, scenic coastal driving. Grassrivers is the Everglades — alligators, airboats, hunting. Mount Kalaga is the elevated forested wilderness — the closest GTA 6 gets to RDR2's Ambarino. Three distinct biomes covering everything from reef to swamp to mountain.
Industrial and small-town
Port Gellhorn is the working-class gulf-coast port — docks, warehouses, gritty bars and prime heist territory. Ambrosia represents inland Leonida — diners, gas stations, billboards, the highway-stop heartland. Together they round out the most varied state Rockstar has ever modeled.
